Hosting & server logs
This website is operated with a hosting provider. Each time the site is accessed, technical connection details – IP address, date and time, requested page, origin (referrer), browser and operating system – are processed in server logs in order to keep the website secure and stable. Transmission takes place with TLS encryption.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Log entries are not combined with other sources of information and are deleted automatically after a short period.
Contact
If you send a message with the form or by email, we process your name, your email address, the telephone number you provide voluntarily, your message and the selected topic in order to deal with your enquiry. Form submissions additionally include the IP address. To protect the form on a technical level, IP-based request restriction is active.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (handling your enquiry); for technical protection, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We retain enquiries for processing and for possible follow-up questions, as a rule for six months, except where statutory retention duties or a continuing business relationship require otherwise.
Web analytics
This website uses Matomo, which we operate ourselves at stats.medienwerk.at. Page views, length of stay, link interactions and technical usage details (browser, operating system, origin, time of access) are evaluated in order to run and improve the website. The information remains in our systems and is not passed on to third parties.
In this process, no cookies are set and IP addresses are processed only in truncated, anonymised form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in economical reach measurement that respects privacy).
You may object to data collection at any time: Disable Matomo tracking (opt-out).
Right to lodge a complaint
If you take the view that the processing of your information violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: www.dsb.gv.at.
